Balloons are such versatile objects and are super multifunctional.
There are so many ways to use them while they’re blown up and even once they’re deflated. So there’s no need to throw them away after your next party.
HERE ARE SOME FUN WAYS TO USE BALLOONS ONCE THEY’RE DONE BEING DECORATIVE:
This is especially fun for kids. Allow some of the balloons to deflate slightly so they are a few different sizes and then dip them into various paint colours.
Press the dipped balloon onto the paper a few times and wait for the colour to dry slightly. Then choose another colour and continue until all the colours have been used. You’ll end up with a tie-dye effect piece of art!
Use the deflated balloons as ‘markers’ on a countdown calendar. The different shapes and colours can be pinned to a pin board to make your next countdown bright and fun!
FOR SOME DECOR
Deflated balloons can also be used to decorate small vases around your home with a pop of colour. Pull the balloon over the bottom of the vase and leave the opening of the balloon as the space to insert your fresh flowers.
ARTS AND CRAFTS
Use your balloons as moulds to make paper mache bowls. Perfect for some DIY décor!
These ideas aren’t only super fun, they’re also mindful of waste. Instead of buying separate items to use for the ideas above, a few party balloons are all you need.
Household Plastics has a wide range of assorted balloons, perfect to get the party (and your DIY crafts) going.
